Ladies Only Sailing

Escape for a week at sea on our “Ladies Only” cruise - a one way coastal exporation from Adrigole in Bantry Bay to Crosshaven, home of the famouse Cork Week race. You will arrive in Crosshave the day before the event begins, so there should be a fantastic atmosphere there. ( will taxi you back to Adrigole and your car on Friday evening).

Get away from mad craze of the World Cup and enjoy the peace and beauty of West Cork's coastline.

This week is especially designed to give women a chance to take some sail training with a crew of other like minded women. Once you have learned some of the simple yet vital things to sailing, you will realize how easy and comfortable it can be. Whether you want to go for the occasional weekend sail, your husband owns a yacht, or maybe your keen to sail and race with other friends this is the first step to making sailing an exciting part of your life.

Take the Competent Crew or Day Skipper certified course or just learn some skills to help out your crew. You instructor can share his or her confidence, knowledge and sense of thrill that only sailing gives. Oh and our instructors never yell, so you are assured of an enjoyable week.

Live aboard training is on board the lovely Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 Legende, designed & chosen with your comfort in mind.  Down below you can enjoy the luxury of hot air heating system, pressured heated water, hot shower, fridge with ice box and spacious cabins.  Up on deck the electric windless, roller furling jib, large spray hood, cockpit vhf and much more make your sailing more comfortable.  She has all the nautical equipment to ensure that your sail training is second to none.

Cruising with Jessy of Adrigole at West Cork Sailing includes the support and comfort of our purpose built base, with changing rooms, showers, dining room and full time administrative support for the yacht and crew.

Jessy of Adrigole is a licensed passenger carrying yacht - assuring you of high safety standards.
