Powerboat Training

West Cork Sailing & Powerboating Centre now provides powerboating training in a 40hp VTEC remote driven Jeanneau and a range of tiller driven rescue boats. With no expensive RIB to service, this keeps the cost down for you in the economically challenging times.

Certified private tuition in your own boat is becoming extremely popular. Bring your boat here to Adrigole or the instructor will travel to your home port.

There is a full range of ISA and RYA Powerboat Training Courses, for a variety of skills levels and different powerboat uses.

Niall MacAllister is an ISA Powerboat trainer and lectures up to instructor level. Your tuition with him will be second to none and will help you make the most of your boat and the sea. Niall will come to you and your boat anywhere in Ireland.

Training is 250euro per day. Ratio for Level 1 and 2 is 1 instructor to 3 students. Level 2 is a 2 day course.

Niall charges for the fuel and a little more for wear and tear on his camper, rather than an expensive milage amount.

So a Level 2 course for 3 people can cost as little as 167euro each.
