Join a 5 day live aboard Irish Sailing certified training course and learn the ropes to help you progress your skills to helm your own boat, become a reliable crew, improve your skills at sea or just for the pure thrill of stretching yourself and feeling the wind.

All courses are live aboard training on board sailing yacht Jessy of Adrigole, Sun Odyssey 37.

Trip Schedule
and Catering

Clients usually at Adrigole Pier 10am on day 1 and disembarking at around 3pm on your final day after giving the deck and cabins a clean down. All meals are provided on board, are fresh produce and are vegetarian or responsibly sourced meats. If you have allergies we do our best to accommodate you where possible in the small galley, so we ask you to inform us in advance and will discuss those needs. We recommend you bring your own treats, drinks and snacks for between meals. We provide tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit.

    Irish Sailing Competent Crew

    €710.00 pp shared or €980 private cabin

    Suitable for beginners
    5 days 4 nights

    To experience being at the helm, helping with the sails, dealing with ropes, learning about being safe on the water and being a competent crew member. This introductory course is ideal for anyone new to sailing.

    Irish Sailing Day Skipper Practical

    €710.00 pp shared or €980 private cabin

    Sail & Navigate Experience Required*
    5 days 4 nights

    Skippering a yacht for the first time can be a daunting yet exhilarating experience. The Day Skipper Practical Course is designed to teach you to “Take Charge” safely and confidently. A skipper does much more than navigate. They are responsible for the complete safety and wellbeing of the yacht and crew.

  • 03

    Irish Sailing Coastal Skipper Course

    €840.00 pp shared or €1080 private cabin

    Experience, Navigation Skills Required
    6 days 5 nights

    Giving you the skills and experience to navigate coastal passages in less familiar or more challenging areas to prepare you for Yachtmaster level training and give you the ability to venture further in your own vessel. We add an extra day to this course, to give you more opportunity to make the most of your course and exploring the coast.
