Adrigole has a few options for dining in the surrounding area or you can bring in a take away or charcuterie picnic and enjoy the lounge dining room.

Dining Room Lounge

There is a microwave, plates and glasses for you, along with a small fridge and dishwasher. It is a small kitchenette and not designed for cooking a full meal.

The Pass Grocery and Deli in Adrigole

Has a range of Hello Fresh and Cully and Scully soups, as well as fresh made ready meals for an easy dinner you can heat in kitchenette microwave in the communal dining / lounge room. The deli fridge always has some tasty treats for a picnic supper and a great selection of wines for all tastes.

An Síbín in lauragh

A cozy pub with an excellent chef serving fresh local seafood, perfectly aged Irish beef, as well as veggie and vegan options.
Open Friday 5pm to 8pm, Saturday 12noon to 8pm, Sunday 10am to 8pm

Helen’s Bar in kilmacalogue

A great pub and BnB with super atmosphere on Kilmacalogue Pier. A fine pint and lovely simple menu at great prices. Muscles and chips, seafood platter, delish burger and more. Well worth a visit.
16.5km, 26 min drive over the Healy Pass to Lauragh and on to Kilmacalogue Pier.
Open 11am to 1130pm every day

The Hags Kitchen (delivery)

Delivery of chef prepared 2 and 3 course meals for you to heat in the microwave. This is an incredible service and brings “take away” to the next level!
Seafood Gratin, Crab Claws, Goats Cheese Galette, Featherblade of Beef, Flourless Chocolate Cake with fresh beries 😲 and other amazing dishes. Always a fish, meat and veggie option available. 3 courses €34, 2 courses €29.
Delivery to The Boat House or at the top of the lane. Must be ordered 24 hours in advance as it is freshly made the day of delivery.

Casey’s Hotel in glengarriff

A wonderful family run Hotel and Restaurant. Great atmosphere in the bar and personal service. A few of my faves here are the Beef and Guinness with Puff Pastry top, Scampi and Chips and the Sausage and Mash – Seafood, Steak and more are all on the menu. Eat in the cosy bar or outside on the decking under the wisteria.
Opens 15 March. Possibly weekends only in the low season, but best to ask directly. 064 6683004.

Breen’s Lobster Bar in Castletownbere

Pub and seafood – a wonderful combination. Known for their great range of vegetarian and vegan options too. You will always get a warm welcome here, great food and a fine pint. A relaxed pub to enjoy your supper or a pint or two.
On the square in Castletownbere. 15min drive west.
Open 12noon to 4pm, then 530pm to 9pm Mon to Thu, to 930pm Fri & Sat, closed Sun.

McCarthy’s Bar

A tourist and local hot spot. Full of history and tales. McCarthy’s is a pub and grocer. There will always be someone interesting in a corner to tell a story or two and Herbie the Pug will likey be sat on a seat waiting for the next visitor. Great pint, delicious sandwiches, paninis and pizzas.
Open 1030am to 1130pm Mon to Thu, 1230am Fri & Sat, 11pm Sun.

Murphy’s Restaurant Castletownbere

A friendly family run restaurant open since 1952, spanning four generations. It serves tasty local seafood, steaks and vegetarian dishes. They promise good food at affordable prices. Great service, good food and it is dinner service starts early and finishes early, great for hikers after a long day on the hills.
