Want your cornflakes at midnight or Porridge at 5am? No Problem. Hot chocolate after a long hike or Herbal tea before bed time? No Problem.
We have created a flexible breakfast system that our guests are loving. The kitchenette is equipped with all you need to prepare your own simple breakfast at any time that suits you. Nothing fancy here, just a good healthy and simple start to the day.
Food:
- A range of cereals, fruit, brown soda bread, white fruit bread, jam, honey and marmalade.
- Fresh coffee and a choice of teas.
- And in the fridge, a choice of milks, real butter, yogurts.
Equipment:
- Fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, glasses, plates, mugs.
- Can opener, bottle opener, sharp knives, chopping board, microwavable bowls and dishes.
- A selection of coffee plungers and tea pots to choose from.
- And in the fridge, a choice of milks, real butter, yogurts.
The kitchenette is not designed for full dinner preperation, but is available for you to heat up a convenience meal and the small fridge is handy for you to keep your charcuterie, wine and beers chilled. We do not recommend raw meats as the kitchen cannot have a full HASSP system with different people using it.
We have small sandwich bags and foil wrap on hand for you to prepare a packed lunch for your day out if you wish.
If you want more supplies The Pass Grocery Store is 1km down the road and Gail will be happy to help you. She has microwavable meals, wine, cheeses, fruits and will make you a sandwich, plus much more.
If you are looking for a big fat fry up, see our Brunch on Beara article coming out soon.
If The Boat House breakfast style isn’t for you and you prefer to stay somewhere that will give you a big breakfast in the morning we recommend Caseys Hotel in Glengarriff, the Old Medical Hall BnB in Castletownbere for an amazing breakfast or Mossies in Adrigole. And if you want to stay somewhere that has a full kitchen for cooking your own then we recommend Hungry Hill Lodge in Adrigole.
